I was able to get the `f.occupy' panel to show its contents without setting those two parameters discussed in the problem report. Further tinkering has lost the ability to show some unicode glyphs in a tmux console. Specifically, Taiwan/HK/OC locale CJKV characters. The fontsize shrunk to eight. -- vl
