Here is content for the commit for fixing the "Should not reach here" error in case of the call to underlying Proxy implementation throws an exception: https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/openjdk-jdk8u/pull/4/commits/d6e6370baad78dfaf34003bb8642f1a5cc9fa064 I have not created a Mercury patch for that but before going down on that road, I would like to ask what is the acceptability of this patch and is it possible to apply this into next Bug fix version for Java 8?
