One of my employees is reporting that Cox told her a backhoe "cut a main line" somewhere in the Alexandria, Virginia area earlier this morning. More than likely a fiber cut I'd imagine. Apparently it's affecting about 50,000 residential customers and has been down since 5 a.m.
