That sounds trivial, perhaps, but I don't think it will be.

My personal hope, anyway, is that it will motivate certain software engineers (and companies) who decide that DNS isn't worthwhile to support (for x y z or no reason) will never be able to remember the new addressing schemes, and find themselves having to use DNS...and thereby adding support to their code.

In which case, bring it on!  :)
