IS-IS support in Quagga and FRR is still spotty.
I will be testing FRR 8.1 (on FreeBSD) soon to see if previous issues
have since been resolved.
- RouterOS v7 added VXLAN, so now you can do that in a MikroTik box,
or in a Cloud-Hosted Router (their VM).

Hard to beat the price point on either.
AFAIK, Mikrotik do not support IS-IS.
