AT&T Local Services (what used to be TCG) had a fiber cut shortly after midnight outside of their Allegheny Center switch site - multiple OC48s taken out. The damage was repaired by 5:00AM. The likelihood of impact to the big providers was fairly small, but I figured it would be of interest to operators in the Pittsburgh / western Pennsylvania area.
We saw a few customer circuits drop, but no interior network impact. FYI jms
