After the install I quickly installed and configured MythTV until I reached the "mythtv-setup" part. Here the prograss stopped because no TV Tuner was found. Strangely lspci showed no sign of my TV Tuner (Which had work an hour ago in another machine) neither did dmesg. At first I thought it was a bad connection so I changed the PCI where the card was sitting but only to find no card in lspci. Then I started fooling around with newer and much older biosses for the motherboard but that didn't make any changes. I Even tried reinstalling Ubuntu, but with no luck. Therefore I decided to change hardware to my XP2500+ with 1048MB mem on a Soltek FRN motherboard. (Running nforce2 chipset.) Installed Ubuntu but only to find that the card still wasn't in lspci and dmesg. Now I really don't know what to do so I hope you can help me. I have googled on the problem only to find nothing about this.
