I seem to have develop a problem very recently. I am not sure if it definitely had anything to do with it, but I upgraded Myth packages (via yum, atrpms). It lets me watch and hear about a second of tv, then freezes, screen goes black. Already recoded video seems not to be affected, and I can do basic captures (cat /dev/video).
I have been searching, and there seem to be numerous examples of these, but I cannot seem to find anything that fits me just right. I am using an Nvidia 6600GT, with the most current binary drivers (8178, though 8174 do not seem to work, either).
