1) no. your tv has no idea what channel your mythtv tuner is on. your tv has no info on the sound of your recordings. you can send the sound from your mythtv box to your tv speakers, but you will need a sound card (pvr-350 may export sound). 2) no. it sounds like a setup/channel tuning issue. 3)PAL or NTSC
