Actually, that's a known bug in up2date, which has 3 hard-coded for the 
$releasever, for some retarded reason, and nobody at Red Hat has bothered to 
fix it yet... (You can get around it by hard-coding your yum repo files w/a 
4, rather than using $releasever in them).

You should be able to compile everything now. Those packages were built by 
compiling on a G4 running FC4. :)
