Yes, that was on purpose: until recently the x86_64 packages would segfault. So the stable repo had i386 packages and the x86_64 packages were demoted to testing status. Recently Jarod commited some fixes for x86_64 to the release-18-fixes branch and the mythtv rpms were rebased on that.
