This is what I do: 1) Copy the file over to your PC. 2) Cut out the ads using ProjectX. 3) Re-encode the video file to cut down its size if necessary. Windows tools for this are eg TMPGEnc, SUPER, MediaCoder. 4) Load the video and audio streams into your DVD authoring package and away you go! ProjectX is great and is free. On this list has been recommended as a good way of keeping video & audio in sync. The interface takes a little getting used to but it does the job perfectly.
