Ok, I got the kernel updated, and updated all the modules.
Now when I try to install ivtv-kmdl-$KVER, I get this (I'm sure it's something dumb I'm overlooking):
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# yum install lirc-kmdl-$KVER

As for the kernel idea, I thought of that late last night as well. Does anyone know if the FC4 kernel modules have been updated? If so, what do I need to do, just update my kernel and then the modules?
As far as going about updating, it's all documented in Jarad's guide.
