the following PC:
VoxBox-B - Accent HT-400 HTPC (Home Theater PC) Case for Full size ATX board
with front USB and fire
wire ports.
I tried installing Fedora,  booting Ubuntu Live CD (I also tried my Laptop with
VGA=791 in the grub)
no matter what I try, once the system start the X the screen goes black. This
obviously stops me from
installing ogro on my Home Theater PC...
Seems to me this problem really requires an X expert... anyone?
Here are some additional links to this problem (previous posts i made)

What is the chipset of the video? ATI radeon? Have you installed the proprietary drivers? I'm assuming you're using composite or s-video connections to the TV.

What you describe is that the BIOS is setting up the TVOUT and works so long as you are in text-mode. When X fires up, it doesn't set up the tvout. You have to have support in your x-driver for the tvout. Need more information:

- Video chipset
- Connection method (s-vid?)
- Driver
- Relevant portions of the /etc/X11/xorg.conf configuration
- Relevant portions of the /var/log/Xorg.0.log

        THEN people can help.
