That should do the trick. Ah, thanks very much - I've done that and it seems to work fine now. I also trimmed the *.xmltv file for my RadioTimes video source so it only tries to grab the listings for channels I can actually get, which seems to reduce the run time of mythfilldatabase from 2 hours to 5 minutes :) cheers, mark
