Reinstalling fixed it, although there is a bug in the
http://bit.blkbk.com/ process. Something about the non-US binaries not
being maintained anymore (at least, for unstable). I had to force
something to be removed before proceeding. It was a kludge, but it
seems to have worked. Of course, then I promptly screwed it up by
messing w/ linuxboot.cfg to fix the screen centering problem. Now it
doesn't start up at all.
I think I am done with Myth for now. It has fantastic potential, but I
I lack the time (and/or ability) to get it working right now. I have my
server running, so I will still get my shows recorded, but I'll have to
watch them on the laptop for now...

I am trying to configure the video settings on a frontend xbox, but I
can't get into the settings screen. When I select the "Video
Settings" screen, the selection blinks once quickly, but then nothing
happens.
I recently updated from .16->.18. I have installed mythplugins, but
it didn't fix it. I tried installing mythvideo, but I get the
following error:
Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
mythvideo: Depends: libgcc1 (>= 1:4.0.0-7) but 1:3.4.3-13 is to be
installed
Depends: libstdc++6 (>= 4.0.0-7) but 3.4.3-13 is to be
installed
I don't know where to find updated versions of those packages.
Any ideas?
