I also am getting this now with the latest cvs release. I reinstalled everything Myth related and it worked the first time. Now I get this everytime I run the watch tv. It also seems to crash the backend and I have to restart the service. It causes Mythweb to give an unexpected error about MYth_Proto_version 17.
