I have seen this on my GFs laptop that runs FC3, but not on a Gentoo machine or Mac OS X.
I haven't had the time lately to troubleshoot, but my first guess might be a bad binary somewhere. You say you rebuilt your frontend a bunch of times, so I'm guessing that you are building from source. What about QT, have you upgraded that? Is that compiled from source or a binary? Sorry about just firing back questions, but that's all I have at the moment as well! Ken.
