I have the same problem, too. This is very annoying, for every broken channel I have to do the same stupid procedure: - kill mythbackend and mythfrontend - enter mythtv-setup - change the default channel to 1 ( Why does it change the default channel, anyway ? Is it because then it starts up with the same channel watched when it was shut down ? Can I turn that off somewhere ? ) - remove the broken channel from the list. ( I don't know how to remove channels in the channel editor, so I edit its number to something > 1000 ) - exit mythtv-setup - start mythbackend and mythfrontend Why does mythfrontend crash when the channel is broken ? Is there no solution to this problem ? Thank you !
