Doesn't work with php included with slackware current : php -v PHP 4.3.10 (cli) (built: Dec 21 2004 15:11:54) Copyright (c) 1997-2004 The PHP Group Zend Engine v1.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2004 Zend Technologies Maybe the possibility to disable (or enable) the function in the config file would be nice before the .17 release.
