Hey,

Ive installed my pchdtv in one of my slave backends. Its running FC2 with the stock kernel that comes on the FC2 install discs, and running mythtv from cvs as of tonight (just checked it out and built it, my master backend is a CVS from 2 nights ago). I also tried to use the CVS rpms from atrpms. I have scanned with dtvsignal and dtvscan, know I have the pchdtv card installed correctly, can get a good signal on my loca UPN channel, in the database its 44_1, I get a signal of about 90% from the cmd line dtvsignal /dev/dtv 59 (44_1=59 freq) so I know its a good chan. I set that as my starting channel in the slave backends, am able to start and connect the slave backend to my master backend, but no matter what I try the starting channel is 3, heres what I get.

$ Running as a slave backend.
2005-01-29 00:54:07.381 Channel(/dev/dtv): CheckChannel failed. Please verify channel "3" in the "setup" Channel Editor.

channel 3 isnt even a valid channel for that card, its not listed anywhere in the channel editor for that video inputs channels. It starts at 8, then 8_1, 8_2, .....44_1. Heres the signal I get for that channel (44_1)

dtvsignal /dev/dtv 59
main: argc 3 argv[1] /dev/dtv
channel 59
freq*16 = 11860
main: ioctl 1 rtn 0
main: ioctl 2 rtn 0
dtvsignal ver 0.2 - by Jack Kelliher (c) 2002
channel = 59 freq*16 = 11860
Signal:           |    .    :    .    |    .____:____.____|
Signal: 091 $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I just cant get myth to use 44_1 as the starting channel. Is there something Im missing? Anyone have any tips? If so, please let me hear from ya. TIA.

Tom
