I think ive heard of it wokring on Yellow Dog Linux (Linux for PPC). However, you would be better off getting a system you can change. I have never liked macs because I a guy who wants to be able to do ANYTHING with my machine. WIth all the strange hardware on apples, it is not easy to put the latest stuff in there.
