Binary package hint: lirc
Philips SRM 7500 needs the following line in /etc/lirc/hardware.conf
REMOTE_DEVICE="macShortAddress=12:34,remoteShortAddress=56:78,macPANId=9a:bc"
In the latest Maveric, the REMOTE_DEVICE option for this remote is
empty.
