Public bug reported: After installing mythbuntu 14.0.1 the kernel driver for the hauppauge 950Q USB HDTV stick could not find the following firmware file: dvb-fe-xc5000c-4.1.30.7.fw and mythtv backend failed to find tv channels.
I found the required file at: http://www.kernellabs.com/firmware/xc5000 /dvb-fe-xc5000c-4.1.30.7.fw and copied it to /lib/firmware and the driver loaded and all worked.
