It's not really a bug, it's a wishlist. And it still exists as a wish. It's partly here as a reminder that I could work on it at some point, though I'd be happy if someone else did. It seems like a fairly simple way to improve the lcdproc package and make it easier to set up displays in mythbuntu.

I'm tempted to try learning debconf myself to see if I can make this work, but I'd leave the ubiquity and mythbuntu control center portion up to the mythbuntu team.
