We really do appreciate you opening this ticket to help improve Mythbuntu, but it needs to be closed for a number of reasons. The biggest one is that upstream has moved on to a new version and believes this to be fixed. Could you please verify if this issue still exists in the latest version?
Please do not let the closing of this ticket dissuade you from opening a new ticket if this (or any other) problem occurs with the newer versions. ** Changed in: mythbuntu Status: Triaged => Expired -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Mythbuntu Bug Team, which is subscribed to Mythbuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/398027 Title: Sub-titles do not display automatically for recordings Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV: Expired Bug description: I have had this problem since my first install of Mythbuntu (8.04), last year. I have since upgraded to 8.10, then 9.04, with the same result. Sub-titles display automatically in Live TV (but I rarely watch Live TV - I use my TV for that). However, they do not display automatically when playing recorded TV programs. To display sub-tiles, I need to get the pop-up menu, toggle sub-titles off, then get the menu & toggle sub-titles on again. No error messages are displayed. The standard messages "subtitles off", "subtitles on" are displayed following the actions I take. [By the way, I am otherwise very happy with 9.04 - thanks for all of the good work.] To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mythbuntu/+bug/398027/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~mythbuntu-bugs Post to : mythbuntu-bugs@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~mythbuntu-bugs More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
