Thank you very much. Your description for 1 and 2 is correct. I would like to add that the problem occurs pretty often, that means I can change channel about three to five times max.
Regarding 3: The crash report was due to a frontend crash. After I updated earlier yesterday to the latest build no frontend crash has occured anymore. I am now able to shut down the frontend with normal means when the channel changing problem occurs. Beforehands the OSD would inform me that by the time I should have a lock already. The Problem seems to be located solely on the backend side. I dont know what a gdb is yet, but I'll try to figure out and post it here.
