Please close this bug. It is now the other way round - in the dev ppa for 0.23 ac3 (even upmixing to ac3) always works like a charm for months - it is the rest of the mediaplayers that has troubles now on karmic. As lucid is so near, we should call it a day...

When hitting <esc> mythfrontend shutsdown unexpectedly. mp2 works, but sounds distorted.
