In 10.04 beta there is an additional step that was not mentioned on any howto I found. Run "dpkg-reconfigure nbd-server". Then answer the questions.

For my scenario I have a separate DHCP server in the network, so I only want to setup the PXE/tftp/ltsp on the server.
