Hi All,
I have been asked to provide a searchable electoral roll.
This data comprises of first name, surname, address for every person over 18 in the UK. Approximately 30 GB
The data is to be used to find people in a certain area.
EG All John Smith in London. All Sarah Dean in St Johns Road, Manchester.
Should I even attempt this using mysql? Has anyone played with this much data in mysql?
