Greetings: I installed MySQL 4.0.5a using the RPMs downloaded from http://www.mysql.com on RedHat 8.0.
I also installed unixODBC that comes with the RHL 8.0 CD. When I try to install the MySQL odbc driver I get the unresolved dependency: libmysqlclient.so.10 I created a symlink from libmysqlclient.so.11 to 10 but it still does not work. I got it only to work by downgrading from MySQL 4 to 3. Is there a way of having ODBC working with MySQL-4.0.5a?
