Then I would think the problem is with the application(s) you are using as opposed to 
MySQL.

It doesn't appear you are doing anything wrong.

It's The MySQL Control Center program.
I can take and save the sql statements from Mycc to a text file and
call  "MySql > c:\sql.txt"   and it runs fine...
