As another poster pointed out, this is a HELP list. If someone posted to the
list looking for a product where Lasso meets that need, I think it would be an
open opportunity to write a short shameless plug to the list with a URL
pointing to more information.

I am interested in all things MySQL too; even commercial products. But again
I do not think this is the forum for such announcements. We don't get
opensource projects announced on this list --aside from MySQL-- why should we
get commercial announcements? That is why I asked if there was another place.
Something like a MySQL channel of freshmeat that allows commercial products
would be cool. Or another moderated list that contains announcements for all
things MySQL related. I would sign up for that 'though I think a web-site
would be better.

Since they included an [announce] in the subject, if the subject title had
been properly capitalized I probably would not have said anything either: A
Title with Proper Capitalization is Much Easier to Read
THAN A TITLE IN ALL CAPS ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS REALLY LONG. I guess my feeble
mind cannot understand why people feel the need to do things like that.

We would probably just end of writing more "read the FAQ" instead of just
"read the manual" ;-).

What about FAQ-o-Matic?
http://faqomatic.sourceforge.net/
We would just need it hosted somewhere.
