All, It looks to me like the latest rpm available from Redhat is 3.23.36 (mysql-server-3.23.36-1). I have it installed on my RedHat 7.1 system but it appears to have a replication bug of some sort. This bug is reportedly fixed in later versions. A rpm with a more recent version is available from MySQL (MySQL-3.23.40-1) but the difference in the names causes the package manager grief with it starts checking dependencies. Is there some way to get this to work?
