Hello,
When I am trying to download mysql from the repository, I am running into
some problem. Earlier about a month back, it was working fine, but its only
recently I am facing this problem.
Anyone can please shed some light on it?
Thanks.
This is the command which I am using
bk clone bk://mysql.bkbits.net/mysql-5.0 mysql
And the error which I run into is:
.
.
.
47337756 bytes uncompressed to 112015014, 2.37X expansion
Looking for, and removing, any uncommitted deltas...

You do not have a license for BitKeeper and the logging field in the
BitKeeper/etc/config file is not set to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]".
You either need a commercial license (to run without open logging),
or you need to convert your package to single user, or you need to
configure your package to use openlogging. Until you have done one of
those, you may not create any changesets.

As of the beginning of July, BitMover has stopped the use of "BitKeeper"
without a license. (This is just a vague description, please check the
details at BitMover's web site.)
I am a bit surprised this prevents cloning, I thought the restriction
would only affect committing or pushing, but that was just a guess.
If you still have your old clone, you might also try to "pull" into it -
I have no idea whether that is still possible.
MySQL is using a licensed version.
If you just want to download the most current MySQL sources, you can get
a free download client from BitMover AFAIK.
This is an extract from a mail we received from BitMover:
| This is just a quick reminder of the upcoming changes regarding the
| free use of BitKeeper. On July 1, 2005 the free version of BitKeeper
| will no longer be available and all previously distributed versions
| will require a commercial key to continue functioning. [[...]]
