Hi, Gunter. You have the dreaded Two Inboxes problem. You should never
have two folders named <Inbox>. If you do, it will cause you grief.
*How do you fix it?*
Pretty simple. Pick one of your inboxes, select all the tasks that are
in it, and drag (or cut&paste) them to the other inbox. Then go back and
delete the empty inbox. Done. (If the problem does not go completely
away or if you have other problems, come back and describe whats happening)
*How did this happen
*MLO allows you to have duplicate tasks all that you want. Which is a
good thing - I have a task "take documents to post office" in a number
of different projects and I really would not want to merge them. Inbox
is really different, and MLO really should find a way to detect and
merge them automatically. How did the second inbox get created? This has
happened a lot to many people and it seems that there are a lot of ways
to get there. One of the most common seems to be creating a profile on
Windows and synching it to the cloud; then creating a new profile on a
mobile using one of the MLO-supplied templates (as opposed to creating a
blank profile) which creates a new inbox on the mobile, and then
synching with the cloud where the other inbox is waiting. You end up
with two inboxes on the mobile (one from Windows and the other from the
template) and the next sync will result in two inboxes on Windows as
well. That's one way, there are others.

If I add a task in my laptop it does sync to my Ipad and Android but
not into the default Inbox folder but into another folder called
<inbox>. (not the one which opens when I hit the inbox icon).
Question: How do I synchronize the tasks I add into my Inbox folder on
my IPad into my inbox folder on my laptop?
