Acutally, I've just remembered reading that Omnifocus is quite restrictive about how you work with it. I take that to mean that they don't do custom filters. You may well be better off waiting to see what the next version of MLO for iOS brings, even though there isn't a Mac version available.
Can you Mac users run Windows programs under a Windows emulator called "Wine"?
