Other two responses should have you covered. Also should be some good examples if you search online. If it's in a work context, you may have additional restrictions that may make it difficult or impossible, whether that's having app passwords disabled, or disabling "legacy" (i.e., standard) protocols. I've been able to get the external oauth script working for my current workplace, where I can't use application passwords. It was a bit of a pain, but it does work, and once you've authenticated once, the whole thing works pretty seamlessly. Of course, it would be really nice if creating an app weren't required, and if Mutt had builtin support vs. an external Python script... but it gets the job done. w
