is there a way to make the command which moves to the next new or unread message in the pager (bound to Tab key in the pager keymap) go to the next mailbox with new messages (or unread, but that's not too important) when there are no more in the current mailbox?
Not exactly what you want, but did you try the next-unread-mailbox function?
