Update: There was an error in my configuration, and now Markdown versions of Word documents are displayed inline ([-- Autoview using pandoc --from docx --to markdown --]). view-attach und view-mailcap still use the same mailcap entry (opening the attachment with LibreOffice), but at least auto_view has the desired effect. - Jan
