OP here. By the way, I am aware of that I can explicitly give labels to each mailbox by using mailboxes' "-label" argument. However, I am using "set imap_check_subscribed" instead of explicitly listing each mailbox in the configuration file, so the "-label" method is not practical (especially with multiple email accounts, each with many folders, some of which I may change/rename through the email provider's web interface).
