Yes, I have already tried that before. In my .muttrc file I have: # set indent_string="> " Since it is commented out, I think it's de default. When I try removing the # and the result is the same, as you can see in this email (I haven't added the space manually this time):

Also, somewhere else in my .muttrc file I have: # set post_indent_string="" Which I don't think it has anything to do with my problem. I'm afraid there is something else modifying it that I can't find. Cheers, Ángel
