It doesn't. FreeBSD is not a Linux based system, so its kernel version will bear no relationship to your system. I uses to use truss on Solaris and maybe dtrace will help on FreeBSD. I'll look around... Cheers, Cameron Simpson <c...@cskk.id.au>
