This may just be an issue with the Terminal program in OS X, but I'm having some problems with the ACS characters in the threading (I'm not setting $ascii_chars) having breaks between them.
The behavior can be seen here: http://soulrebels.com/mutt_threads.png Normally (sorry Thomas), I just use xterm-256color, which is what Terminal declares. I've also tried nsterm-16color and Apple_Terminal (which is the one you're probably officially supposed to use, but never seems to be kept up to date with the current OS X version. Client is running OS X 10.8.2 (same behavior on 10.7.4). I'm reading mail on a (different) OS X machine as well as on a FreeBSD machine. Is this something that can be "fixed" in mutt, or, if this is due to a messed up terminfo entry, does anyone have one that will cause things to be rendered properly? In xterm, everything displays fine. mutt -v output: aura% mutt -v Mutt 1.5.21 (2010-09-15) Copyright (C) 1996-2009 Michael R. Elkins and others.
