I didn't see a response to this... There's a known issue with the way mutt parses out whitespace that breaks UTF-8 encoding (or decoding) when certain characters are used. If you search the bug tracker I'm sure you'll have no problem finding it. I'm not 100% positive, but I believe this is what you're running into. -- Derek D.
