Presently I use this line in my .muttrc: macro index,pager i "<pipe-entry>w3m -m<enter>" Typing a colon ":" activates the links in the page. This preserves context and enables me to utilize w3m's alternate browser capability. My main complaint with this method is w3m's handling of mailto links. For those I use urlview.
