I'm using offlineimap for severral accounts (one of them with ~50000 mails) and refreshing is very fast. I only have: set header_cache='~/.mutt/hcache because it is not necessary to cache whole massage (they are already on your local disk). Sory I can't help any more, but just wanted to say that offlineimap works fine with mutt. Your problem must be elsewhere. Regards, -- Veljko
