For the past several years I have been using lynx and links to open HTML mail as if it was attachments inside mutt, are there any plans to make a simple html renderer or even filter as a part of the normal mail viewer? Is there even a way to make the normal mail viewer default to run some preprocessor before displaying html mail?
I think what you are looking for exists in using links/w3m/other + mailcap. In order to view html mails directly in mutt I have this one liner (without \) in my .mailcap: text/html; w3m -dump %s; copiousoutput; description=HTML Text; \ nametemplate=%s.html Maybe that is what you are looking for? JP
