I really don't know, but aiui better would be:

send-hook <audience> 'my_hdr From: d.dal...@customhostname.whatever'
where <audience> is the interested scope

send-hook mutt-users 'my......'
or
send-hook <user-name>@somewhere.butnothere 'my....'

reference "my_hdr" under "User Defined Headers" and "send-hook", "from",
"$reverse" and "$use_from" in tfm.
