What does that part of your muttrc look like?

Remember, you can't just add mailbox names to your muttrc and expect 
them to work; you use a command ("mailboxes") to tell mutt to add a 
mailbox to the list of mailboxes to check.

>list-exim-users

The problem is that that's on a line by itself. It should look like 
this:

     mailboxes +list-exim-users

(Do you know what the + is there for?)
